Segment I
•Minimum age of 14 years, 8 months
•24 hours classroom, 6 hours behind the wheel, 4 hours of observation
•Certificate is issued upon completion, to be taken to the Secretary of State's Office for validation and issuance of Level 1 Licenses classroom, 6 hours behind the wheel, 4 hours of observation

Segment II
•6 hours classroom based on Defensive Driving
•30 hours of the required 50 hours behind the wheel with parent must be completed
•Hold a valid Level 1 License for not less than 3 consecutive months before enrollment in Segment II
Road Test
•Minimum of 6 months on Level 1 License
•50 hours driving completed with parent behind the wheel
After completion of Road Test, the Secretary of State's Office will issue a Level 2 License and the student may drive without supervision except from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
After 6 months at Level 2 License and 12 consecutive months of violations / crash free driving, the student has full driving privileges with no restrictions.fter completion of Road Test,
